Job Responsibilities:

  • .Develop and implement innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies that address the increasing complexities and challenge
  •  Oversee demand and supply planning processes to minimize stockouts and excess inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  •  Continuously monitor price inquiries and negotiation processes to secure cost-effective procurement from a pool of reliable suppliers.
  •  Create and execute plans to expand product offerings with existing suppliers, ensuring consistent supplier availability.
  •  Lead the annual supplier performance evaluation to ensure partnerships with qualified suppliers. Enhance supplier service levels by negotiating favourable payment and service terms to benefit the company.
  •  Conduct research and address factors affecting product costs, such as material prices, product specifications, transportation costs, and manufacturing processes, etc
  •  Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize procurement processes for improved efficiency.
  •  Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to support subsidiaries in their operations and ensure compliance.
  •  Manage supply chain software to ensure functionality, data security, and seamless system operations, including access control and transaction management.
  •  Maintain accurate and organized records of all related documents, ensuring they are updated, easily retrievable, and confidentiality is effectively managed.
  •  Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Education Required:
    • Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain / Business Management/Mechanical engineering or other related field of studies. Able to read technical drawing.
  • Experience Required:
    • Minimum 5 years’ procurement experience preferable in construction/engineering industry. Familiar to import and export processes.
  • Competencies and Skills Required:
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, resourceful with good analytical abilities.
    • Able to lead, supervise, train and develop team members, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
    • Proficient in Oracle Netsuite would be an advantage.
    • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
