ANGLE BEAD is specially manufactured with striation and perforation along flanges, which provide positive bonding of the product to subtraits and skim coat plaster to the product. It also creates excellent alignment at corners or angles of the structure after finishing is done.
90º internal corners are usually the most difficult alignment aspect during wall plastering. K.U.S has developed the Inner Bead to counter this problem. The Inner Bead is designed to give a perfect 90º straight and sharp internal corner, regardless of whether the walls meet perfectly at the corner. Due to its self-aligning characteristic, it makes plastering of internal corners easier and more efficient, saving both time and money.
Z-BEAD creates a 12mm reveal or relief detail in drywall and at the same time encases the raw edges of the drywall. The wide perforated flange allows topping of key to board, eliminating the need of taping the flanges. It is also used at the juncture of dissimilar materials and can be used in either vertical or horizontal position.
PVC L-BEAD is specially developed to substitute for the conventional aluminum L-Bead whose metallic colour seldom matches the colour of the wall. The PVC L-Bead is economical and offers easy installation and painting characteristics.
CASING BEAD provides an encasement to raw edges of drywall. This enables good butting of the substrates such as masonry, glass, and window and door encasements, preventing moisture from migrating into the board. It is also used as a moisture barrier around bathtubs and showers.
SELF-ADHESIVE FIBERMESH plays an important role to minimise hair line cracks along the joint connection between two adjacent dry walls or lightweight concrete panels during skim coat plastering.
