CONTROL JOINT provides good spacing between concrete slabs. The built-in cavity serves as a buffer for floor expansion on hot days and compression in cold days. A concrete slab without Control Joints will have a reduced lifespan due to cracking.
L-STRIP is designed to minimise cracks due to expansion and contraction of concrete floors. It is also used as a divider of two or more different floor sections, such as floor finished with tile, terrazzo and concrete.
