TILE TRIM is specially designed to provide smooth chamfering at the corners of tile. Tile is a non-homogeneous material, making it extremely difficult to chamfer off neatly at the 90 degree corner. It comes in numerous colour selections to either blend or contrast with your tile’s colour theme.
Apart from the conventional round shaped PVC tile trim, K.U.S has newly developed the PVC square and our first ever stainless steel wrapped PVC tile trims, which come in grade 304 and 316 in round and square shapes. The stainless steel surface enhances the perimeter of the tile wall, providing a stylish and elegant trimming finish.
STAINLESS STEEL (CJS-25) and BRASS (CJB-25) STRIP are newly innovated products that are cost saving and environmentally friendly. Stainless steel and brass wrap over a PVC structure, with flexibility in height due to adjustable flanges. This is an economical and elegant floor and wall trimming, with uses such as parquet to parquet and parquet to tiles.
BENEFITS OF CJS-25/CJB-25
Only top part of exposed profile is wrapped with stainless steel/brass sheet, hence it reduces cost price compared to the whole profile made of stainless steel/ brass.
It is light in weight, as the whole profile is composed of less than 7% of stainless steel/brass.
Three optional profiles can also be adopted by having breakable lines along the component.
CJT-11G is designed to relieve stress in-between tiles. Its built-in cavity serves as a buffer that provides good spacing to protect the tiles from movements caused by expansion and contraction. It also has a perforated line on one side of the flange for easy breakage when installing in the perimeter or near the wall.
TD-11 is designed to minimise cracks caused by expansion and contraction of concrete floor. It is also used as a divider of two or more different floor sections, such as floors finished with tile, terrazzo and concrete.
TILE SPACER is a small cross-like or A-shaped piece which is used to space tiles apart in equal distances. Spacers are used to accomplish a well-installed and attractive tile arrangement on floors, walls or countertops. Placing the tile spacer between tiles creates uniform grout lines when tiles are laid, which contribute to an overall neat and proportional appearance of the installed tiles. Spacers allow more precise alignment of individual tiles and a higher degree of accuracy during tile installation. They can also significantly speed up the work, because spacers eliminate the guess-work in tile placement.
